The Meditation Initiative is seeking the donation of a rural property in San Diego County suitable for the Rural Retreat Meditation Center. In the future, it will serve as a facility for the deep engagement of meditation practice and the study of our essential wisdom and compassion. Weekend meditation retreats and ongoing study courses will form the foundation of the programs, The Meditation Retreat Center is envisioned to encompass:
- Silent meditation retreats for individuals and groups
- Ecological mindfulness with organic farm/gardens
- Meditation teacher trainings for the outreach meditation programs
- Meditation programs designed for corporate and professional issues
